Lisa Braden, MS, RD/LD
Lisa Braden, the registered dietitian at NMotion, embodies the perfect blend of professional expertise and personal enthusiasm for athletics and nutrition.
Her journey is a testament to the power of combining one’s passions to create a fulfilling career and lifestyle. By intertwining her love for running and a deep understanding of nutrition, Lisa has established herself as a leader in guiding those looking to improve their lives and athletic performance through diet optimization.
With an early start to her days training for races, Lisa navigates through her multifaceted life as a mother, a functional health registered dietitian and a running specialist.
What began as informal advice to friends on how to nourish their bodies for better training gradually evolved into a professional calling, leading her to pursue a career in helping others fuel their bodies to be at their peak.
Lisa’s academic background is as diverse as her career, holding an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of Oklahoma, a Master of Science in Nutrition, and is now currently pursuing an advanced practitioner degree.
Over the past nearly two decades, Lisa has enriched the lives of athletes, children and adults alike, dedicating a significant part of her career to working with children with special needs. However, as her personal interest in running flourished, so did her ambition to support athletes through specialized nutrition counseling.
With over 25 years of experience in running and endurance, Lisa has transitioned from a casual runner to a competitive racer, achieving wins and top placements in her age group. She has run all the US major marathons, including the Boston Marathon.
She attributes her improved performance and endurance to top-level coaching and understanding the critical role nutrition plays in athletic success.
Whether you’re an athlete seeking to elevate your game or someone looking to enhance your health through better eating habits, Lisa Braden is your guide to achieving those aspirations.
